Turkey Bowl 2017

The 2017 Halls Hill Turkey Bowl will be played on the newly renovated Halls Hill playground field. This Thanksgiving football game is an historical African American staple in the Halls Hill community for over 68+ years pitting the "Youngens" vs's "Oldies". Kudos to Arlington County Recreation Department staff who worked with the Turkey Bowl committee to ensure the continuity of the game during the construction. This year the Turkey Bowlwill be awarding it's second annual Alfred J. Forman Scholarship.. Additionally there will be (2) Thanksgiving dinners donated by MSMU Youth Foundation from Harris Teeter given out. We will honor one of our own senior residents. COME ONE, COME ALL to a wonderfully joyous occasion.
