Help with Taxes
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, an AARP Foundation program, helps low- to moderate-income tax payers access greater discretionary income for everyday essentials, such as food and housing, by assisting with tax services and ensuring receipt of applicable tax credits and deductions.
This service is available free to taxpayers with low and moderate incomes, with special attention to those 60 and older. Utilizing trained volunteers, the program has helped low- to moderate-income individuals for more than 40 years nationwide.
Tax-Aide sites are open annually from late January/early February to April 15. Detailed information, resources and frequently asked questions are available via AARP’s website, AARP.com.
